mZIPP - Your Guide to Zagreb's Spatial Data
mZIPP is a free mobile application that provides users with a wealth of spatial data collected by the Zagreb city administration, city companies, and institutions. This geoportal allows users to access spatial data connected to their current or selected location, including address, house number, local committees, city districts, cadastral data, and zoning category for individual parcels. The application also enables users to search for city institutions by predefined thematic groups such as City administration, Health, and Culture.
This app is aimed at the general public and relies on official spatial data of the City of Zagreb, which is structured into thematic layers, making it easy for users to browse and search for the selected area or the whole city. The datasets are updated regularly, with new layers of data added at least once a year, depending on the requirements of the city administration bodies and city companies. The mobile geoportal mZIPP is a result of the collaboration between the City Office for the Strategic Planning and Development of the City, which collected, analyzed, and prepared the datasets, and APIS IT, which developed the application.
